According
to a Nigerian based in South Africa, Mr. Femi Oshin, the poor administrative
style and attitude of Nigerian High Commission in South Africa should be blamed
for unending attacks on Nigerians in the country.
The media practitioner and Chief Executive Officer of Better Africa Communication and Consults said “if the High Commission prioritised the welfare and complaints of Nigerian nationals in the country the situation will not be as bad as it is presently. Lack of speedily and prompt response on the part of the High Commission to distress calls and complaints has emboldened South Africans to kill Nigerians at will”
Meanwhile,
Nigerian Government has promised to compensate all those Nigerians affected by
the South Africans xenophobic crisis.
