Barcelona whips Bayern Munich 3-0 as Juventus beats Real Madrid 2-1




The battle for supremacy in the European football races on this week as the remaining four teams in the UEFA Champions League tied for action in Italy and Germany. 

On Tuesday, 5th of May, 2015, Real Madrid clashed with Juventus FC in a match that showcased the resourcefulness of Carlos Tevez in the Italian side. In the match that ended 2-1 against Real, Carlo Tevez brilliant performance helped Juve to a difficult victory over the visiting Real as against Gareth Bale non-spectacular outing on Tuesday. Juve took the lead when Alvaro Moratta slipped in a goal after Carlo Tevez trial was blocked.


Cristiano Ronaldo canceled the one goal deficit with a header from James Rodriguez’s cross but Juve took the lead again when Tevez after the half-time converted a penalty awarded to Juventus with a right foot shot to goal.
Wednesday encounter of Barcelona and Bayern Munich was a totally shock to many football fans, though prediction a tough match between the two based on 7-0 humiliation Bayern handed down to the Barcelona in their last UEFA match. Barcelona proved its determination this time around not to allow itself to be thrashed this time around. Unfortunately for Bayern, most of its key players like Robben, Ribbery and others were knocked out of the game by injury.

Lionel Messi scored twice as Barca struck thrice within 13minutes to the end of the match. Pep Guadiola Bayern was on course to a draw before Lionel Messi in 77th minute fired a low short home at the edge of the box. Three minutes after, he manoeuvered Jerome Boateng and put in another goal. 

During the injury time, the push by the Bayern side for equaliser led to another defensive error that made it possible for Neymar to penetrate once more for the visiting Spanish club side.
