With their velvet crowns, palaces, and publicly displayed jewels, the
British royal family may be the very symbol of ostentatious wealth,
but, as it turns out, they’re Dickensian peasants compared to the real
British royals: The Beckham family.
According to a study by the London School of Marketing, the Beckham family is worth an astonishing £470 million (that comes out to $714,259,000). According to the Sunday Times’s annual Rich List,
Queen Elizabeth II is worth a pathetic £340 million ($516,698,000).
The
Beckham family makes between 30 and 40 million pounds (about
$53,989,500) per year. That money comes from David, whose company,
Footwork Productions, is worth £150 million ($227,955,000); Victoria,
whose Beckham Ventures (which includes her fashion line) is worth £60
million ($91,182,000); and the family name, which is worth £70 million
($106,379,000) in endorsement deals.
David and Victoria aren’t the family’s only moneymakers. Both
Brooklyn and Romeo have various modeling contracts bearing the family
name which are certainly lucrative. And 10-year-old Cruz and 4-year-old
Harper haven’t even made their modeling debuts yet.
