Serena Williams lost out in the Madrid Open final

Czech tennis player, Petra Kvitova on Friday at the Madrid Open final ended Serena’s unbeaten winning strides in a resounding victory.

Kvitova came back after two-month break to attend to physical and mental exhaustion. In her next final tie Kvitova will face Russian player Svetlana Kuznetsova on Saturday.

The Czech tennis player championship hopeful beats the defending champion Maria Sharapova 6-2, 6-4.

While responding to journalists questions Kvitova said: I had never beaten her (Serena), so it is special day for me and I am happy it is in a semi-final here in Madrid so I can play the final.
