In the strives of the lady-celebrities to counted in the new wave of bikini bods expression Melanie Sykes in this piece also displayed her rock hard abs in many shots she just released to the public.

Forty-four year-old, Melanie accompanied by her two sons was in Italy to celebrate her sons birthday. The trio lodged at the Grand Holet Tremezzo and had a boat trip on Lake Como.

On the day of the celebration, Melanie posted on her wall: Mornin all. my Tino is 11yrs old today. He's having a holiday birthday and bouncing round the bedroom #too early sending love.

She went on to reveal that her son had battled challenges of autism diagnosis, she said: The birthday boy has had tantrum and tears he's over it now but I'm not quite yet ! #autism,' she explained adding: 'last few b'days have been the sameWe have to play it down. Cake no singing no candles. & God help us if the pressie isn't quite right #autism.'

Since disclosing her son’s autism status, Melanie has been in the forefront in raising awareness of the condition starting with the revealing her son's diagnosis three years before. While appearing on a talk-show, ITV's Daybreak last year Melanie stated her experience on parenting a child with autism.

From photo shoots, Melanie seems to grow younger by the days and when asked recently by Sun's Fabulous magazine about the secrets behind her beauty and physique, she said: Anybody can look fit. If you train and eat well, then that's what happens. I'm no different. For me, it's just about feeling good and looking good and it gives me confidence. If I'm in a bikini, I feel good.
