As a result of the
second half superlative performance of the Chelsea FT on Wednesday, April 29,
2015 against Leicester City Jose Mourinho is Crystal Palace match at Stamford
Bridge on Sunday away before his English club side is crowned the winner and
champion of this season’s Premier League. The Blues will be lifting the Premier
League trophy for the first time in five years if they beat Crystal Palace on
Sunday.
At a well followed match
by Chelsea fans and other enthusiasts of the game around the world played at
King Power Stadium, Leicester did all its best to sustain its unbeaten record at
home in first-half but gave way to Chelsea players’ rejuvenation and resilience

(21), Ramires (7), Willian (22), Hazard (10) and Drogba (11). Substitution
include, Filipe Luis (3), Zouma (5), Ake (16), Oscar (8), Mikel (12), Coutois
(13), and Cuadrado (21) Chelsea won 3-1.
Leicester deployed its
entire attacking force in the first half of the match that led the goals rolling
through Foxes’ March Albrighton. Albrighton put a goal through into the Chelsea goalpost
after more than five (5) attempts that resulted in two casualties and substitutions
in less than four (4) minutes in succession by his club side. Albrighton put the
Foxes in the leading through his right footed shot from the centre of box to
the bottom of the corner assisted by James Vardy.
Before the Albrighton’s eventual
conversion, many shots from players like Paul Konchesky, Esteban Cambiasso and
Daniel Drinkwater without resulting to a goal.
Many attempts made by

Zouma was substituted
for Willian (84th minute into the match), Cuadrado came in for
Hazard and Mikel Obi, the Nigerian international came for Fabregas some minutes
to the end of the title clash (90th minute).
Knowing that their team
was at a comfortable lead, the chant of boring, boring Chelsea rent the air of
King Power Stadium, Chelsea fans were cheered their players until the final
whistle by the referee, Marc Clattenburg.
